· Send the CE a link to the first draft of the
course
· Send the CE any questions about course development

Content Expert
· Review the draft created by the Developer and
identify gaps or technically inaccurate information
· Bring answers for any questions sent by the Developer
- spend time going into background details in order to
explain the "whys" as well as the "hows"
of the process
· If you run out of time at a meeting, schedule
another meeting soon |
Course Developer
· Listen to the feedback the CE gives you
· Write down any additional information you receive
during the meeting
· Create the course to give instructions on performing
all procedures
· Send an outline or list of questions to content
expert before meeting
· Ask for clarity on anything you do not fully
understand
· Write a draft of course questions (when appropriate),
with input from CE |

Test |
Content Expert
· Test the course as if you were a beginning user
of the program
· If appropriate, ask a potential student or user
of the course to test the course and make suggestions |
Course Developer
· Test every aspect of the course
· Double-check all of the test questions, if any,
for clarity and correctness of the answers given |

for Final Meeting |
Content Expert
· Review the final draft of the course for logical
flow and technical accuracy
· Ask final questions from the Developer |
Course Developer
· Give URL for the final revision of the document
to the CE for review
· Review comments given by course reviewer(s) and
make changes or suggestions as required
·Review course for spelling and grammar |

· Explain and describe any final changes or additions
that need to be made
· Discuss the questions and answers in course Quiz
· Discuss all course reviews
· Discuss the posting process
· Clarify which posting responsibilities will be
completed by the CE and or by the Developer |

· Get final answers from the CE
· Take careful notes on any last minute changes or
additions to course
· Clarify any last minute steps that must be taken
before course can be posted for general use
· List the CE as the first contact if users have
questions about the course material |
